Speaking on Sartuday at Miambani, Kyua- Katangi in Machakos during the burial ceremony of the late Mulolongo Hairdresser Jane Mwende who was murdered and her body found dumped in a pit latrine in Mlolongo area, Yatta MP Robert Basil condemned the inhuman act saying justice must be prevailed.
"It's so inhuman to take someone's life.No one is mandated to kill.Justice must be achieved. I will speak, shout, until justice is achieved "- said Basil
MP Basil promised to stand with the family by all means, saying that it is against the law to kill.
He went on calling everyone to attention, that when differences arise, there is always room for corrections and agreements, instead of taking one's life.
"There is always room to solve and agree. Never kill someone "- added Basil
"We need justice for Jane Mwende. No corruption will go on . I will open my eyes widely until justice is achieved"- pointed out Basil
Basil's speech was echoed by Katangi Ward MCA Hon.Felix Ngui, who called on the relevant authorities to join hands and help achieve justice.
