Yatta Constituency Member of the National Assembly Robert Ngui Basil has been listed among the top impactful MPs in the year 2023 by Politrack Africa.
Basil was listed with an approval rating of 63.5 % , just 1 year in the office.
The Super Yatta MP Robert Basil acknowledged the rating, thanking Yatta electorate for the unity and focused leadership that has translated to the ranking.
Among the Top Projects that steered Politrack to list MP Basil Among the top impactful MPs in the year 2023 include ;
1. Construction of pit latrines in Katulani Primary School in Matuu Ward
2. Devolving of birth certificates at ward levels
3. Lobbying for the construction of Yatta Dam
4. Upgrade of different murram roads
5. Initiation of hospital bill waivers to atune of millions of shillings to several bereaved families and those with sick members
6. Lobbied for 23 women groups to benefit with non refundable monies to start their own businesses
7. Introduced Primary School feeding program to help retain pupil's in school
8. Equipping of Yatta TVET with furniture as a way of enhancing education
9. Bursary Issuance where over 24000 applicants benefitted
10. Championed for Inua Jamii Registration
11.Launched Ndiuni, Ngumbulu, Kalandini, Kamweani and Mutyamboo Water Projects.
12. Pushed for village elders to be remunerated for their good work
13. WIFI Connectivity in Kithimani by UNICEF through his efforts
14. Influencing EU / UN to fund Kavoke and Mavoloni water projects
Basil says he's committed towards making a social transformation in Yatta Constituency for the only way to reward his electorates is through fruitful leadership that impacts Yatta Constituency positively.
