FAITH MWENDE LAID TO REST IN MBOONI AFTER BRUTAL DOMESTIC ATTACK

Faith Mwende Kiio, a mother of two young children, was laid to rest in Kitandi Village, Kako Location, Mbooni Constituency, following a tragic and brutal attack by her boyfriend. On the morning of 1st May 2025, Faith was set ablaze in her Emali residence, where her husband locked the house after igniting the flames.

Despite suffering severe burns, Faith managed to escape the burning house and was rushed by neighbors to Kilome Nursing Home for emergency treatment before being transferred to Kenyatta National Hospital. She fought for her life in the Intensive Care Unit but sadly passed away on the night of 5th May 2025.
Born on 16th August 1994, Faith was the daughter of Kako Sub-Location Senior Chief Johnbosco Kioo Kisambo. Her death has left the community grieving and sparked urgent calls to address domestic violence and promote peace in relationships.

Mbooni MP Hon. Kivasu Nzioka, who attended the burial, condemned the horrific act and urged all couples to uphold peace and respect, emphasizing that no one has the right to harm another.
Faith’s family, friends, and community remember her as a devoted mother and cherished member of the community. May her soul rest in eternal peace.
