"Machakos County commitment to continue supporting and nurturing talents of youths to see them soar to greater heights is undeterred," says DG Francis Mwangangi
Speaking at Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos while attending Kenya Secondary Schools Term 1 National Games, Machakos Deputy Governor Francis Mwangangi Kilonzo, revealed that Machakos County Government will always support youth talents heartfully and willingly.
Mwangangi said that youths have got different talents, which, if well nurtured, will positively benefit them.
"I know what youths undergo day in, day out. As the county government of Machakos, we've been supporting the youths not because we're super rich, but we know they just lack someone to hold their hands"- pointed out Mwangangi.
According to DG Francis Mwangangi, sporting activities are key factors for responsible growth amongst youths.
Today, many people earn their living through engaging in sporting activities like playing football and participating in marathon.
Mwangangi vowed to continue supporting youths to achieve their goals.
"Idle mind is a devil's workshop," Mwangangi asked all youths to keep themselves busy by engaging in sporting activities.
Such activities also cut off irresponsible behaviours and build a strong fit society.
He thanked the games organisers for choosing Machakos County as host County for the National Games.
