Wiper Nominated MCA Hellen Ndeti on Wednesday attended the SHE Summit in Machakos Youth and Children Centre, a forum that brought together people from all walks of life.
Addressing the congregation, MCA Hellen Ndeti urged women leaders to remain strong and focused no matter the many challenges that they face.
Hellen Ndeti said that a society that prioritises the welfare of women, lack nothing but receives more blessings and a strong bond.
"Women face a lot of challenges like discrimination, insults among many other challenges. However, we all have a reason to remain strong and unbeatable, " said Hellen Ndeti
She pointed out that women are the bond that has held together families and the nation, asking all women to remain strong and unbeatable.
"For any nation to be strong and transformed, it has to prioritize and respect women. Today, the rhythm is all about women empowerment. Let's empower and motivate our women, and our country shall be blessed and fully transformed, " added Hellen Ndeti
MCA Hellen Ndeti noted that women are also the pillars within which the country's socio-politico-economic strength is established, saying women need to be fully supported for they play a key role in the nation.
"This tendency of mocking women and moreso women leaders should stop. If it were not for women, even you men, you wouldn't be here. Let's believe in women and women leadership. Let's give women space to even lead the nation. It's possible for us women to deliver, " said MCA Hellen Ndeti.
The SHE Summit was the first-ever Ladies Summit in Machakos County, an empowering day of growth and connection.
