Governor Wavinya Ndeti Urges Drivers To Be Cautious On Roads.

Machakos County Governor Wavinya Ndeti has called on drivers to be more careful on roads to avoid unnecessary road accidents .

Wavinya says that many accidents reported are caused by careless drivers who overspeed and overlap without caring about other road users.

Governor Wavinya Ndeti wants drivers to ensure that they enhance and adhere to road safety rules of stopping and giving way, not overspeeding, and ensuring that they respect other road users.
Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti was speaking this on Friday evening while hosting hundreds of Muslims at her office grounds - Whitehouse for IFTAR celebrations.

She called on drivers to stop driving while drunk, especially PSV drivers who are always in a rush to get more money.

Wavinya challenged the drivers to ensure they undergo proper training since most of them do not have licenses and they pose a threat to other road users.
In other news, Governor Wavinya told off her critics, saying that she's answerable to Machakos people who gave her many votes, but not to individuals who have risen to distabilize her leadership

Her DG , Francis Mwangangi, vowed to never give critics space to distabilize their leadership, saying that they are fully committed to serving machakos people rightfully and delivering the promise.

Mwangangi called for unity in Machakos, saying that service delivery would be easily achieved through togetherness and unity of purpose.

He indeed asked all residents to support Governor Wavinya , noting that in a 10-year period of Governor Wavinya leadership as the Governor for Machakos, the county will be fully developed and transformed.
He gave an example of former Machakos Deputy Governor Benard Kiala, who, after serving machakos people for years, was reduced to a common 'hustler' mwananchi, saying that he is goalminded and he is preparing to vie for Machakos Gubernatorial seat come 2032 after 10 good years of Governor Wavinya Ndeti's leadership.
