Kibwezi West MP Mwengi Mutuse has lauded the National Government’s ongoing development initiatives, stating that Kenyans are now witnessing the benefits of President William Ruto’s administration.
Speaking during a church service at AIC Mukuyuni DCC in Kaiti Constituency on Sunday, Mutuse highlighted several key projects, including the employment of teachers, the construction of Junior Secondary School (JSS) classrooms, ongoing and planned road infrastructure, the rollout of the Social Health Insurance Fund (SHIF), affordable housing projects, and the creation of new administrative units.
“These initiatives are transforming lives across the country. The government is delivering on its promises, and Kenyans will continue to reap more benefits as these projects progress,” said Mutuse.
The legislator particularly praised the education sector reforms, noting that the government has recruited thousands of teachers to address staffing shortages and improve the quality of learning. Additionally, he emphasized the importance of the affordable housing program in creating job opportunities and addressing the country’s housing deficit.
On healthcare, Mutuse commended the implementation of the Social Health Authority (SHA) and SHIF, which aim to provide quality and accessible medical services for all Kenyans. He called on citizens to enroll in the new health scheme, noting that it would significantly reduce the financial burden of medical expenses.
Regarding infrastructure, he pointed out that several road projects were underway or in the pipeline, aiming to enhance connectivity and boost economic activities in various regions. He also acknowledged the government’s efforts to enhance security and service delivery through the establishment of new administrative units.
Mutuse urged Kenyans to support the government’s development agenda and remain patient as the projects take shape. He assured that more initiatives were on the way, promising even greater transformation in the near future.
“The journey to a better Kenya is on course, and we must all play our part in ensuring that these projects succeed for the benefit of all,” he concluded.
