Aspiring Machakos Central Ward MCA Alois Makau Mutua, popularly known as MUSAMO, has expressed strong confidence in Kalonzo Musyoka’s chances of clinching the presidency in the 2027 General Election, calling on Kenyans to rally behind what he termed a unifying national vision.
Speaking on the country’s political direction, Alois Mutua noted that it would be unfortunate for leaders and citizens who fail to support Kalonzo Musyoka now to later find themselves witnessing his victory from the sidelines. He said the country has gone through a prolonged period of political uncertainty, divisions, and mistrust, but stressed that the time has come for unity, reconciliation, and collective focus on the future
The MCA aspirant described Kalonzo Musyoka as a seasoned leader with the experience, temperament, and national outlook required to lead Kenya at a critical moment. He pointed to Kalonzo’s long public service record, commitment to peaceful politics, and ability to work across political and regional divides as qualities that continue to endear him to many Kenyans, especially at the grassroots.
Alois Mutua further urged leaders from Machakos County, the wider Ukambani region, and the rest of the country to rise above narrow political interests and personal ambitions. He emphasized that unity among leaders and voters who share common values will be key in shaping the outcome of the 2027 elections and ensuring a stable and inclusive government.
As political temperatures slowly rise ahead of the next General Election,Alois Mutua’s remarks reflect growing confidence among some grassroots leaders that Kalonzo Musyoka remains a formidable contender. His comments also signal early mobilization efforts within Machakos Central Ward, where local leaders are increasingly positioning themselves within broader national political conversations centered on unity, experience, and leadership.
