The Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) Board of Directors held its first meeting under the leadership of the newly appointed Board Chairperson, Joseah Kiplangat Cheruiyot.

This meeting also saw the inclusion of four independent members, signifying a renewed commitment to excellence and progress within the college.

As a leading middle-level training
institution, KMTC has played a crucial role in producing highly skilled healthcare professionals, contributing significantly to Kenya's Universal Health Coverage (UHC) goals.

The institution's dedication to producing competent graduates has been pivotal in meeting the country's healthcare workforce requirements, both nationally and internationally.

The newly formed Board bears the vital responsibility of maintaining and enhancing training standards at KMTC.

This commitment ensures that KMTC graduates are not only well-prepared for the demands of the local healthcare sector but also meet the stringent requirements of the global job market.

The Board's role extends to fostering collaborations and partnerships aimed at mobilizing resources to complement government initiatives and further strengthen educational programs and infrastructure.
