"Machakos Is Open For Business"- Wavinya Tells Investors

Governor Wavinya Ndeti has urged private and public sectors to explore a range of mutually beneficial partnerships by investing in Machakos County. 

Speaking during the grand opening of Sinoma Roofing Kenya Ltd factory in Lukenya - Mavoko constituency, Governor Wavinya Ndeti, said Machakos means business, urging all investors to always think of Machakos county as the place to be, on matters business and peace. 
The Governor asked the National Government to offer more incentives to investors to prevent relocation to other countries.

Governor Ndeti pointed out that some Investors had relocated to Tanzania in the recent past owing to unfavorable tax regime in Kenya.

Wavinya said that Machakos has a strong economic interest and promising collaborations in trade and investment . 

"I want to affirm your confidence in entering or expanding your cooperation in our market" - said Wavinya
The Governor thanked Members of Parliament for dropping the contentious issues in the Finance Bill.

She said the country was still emerging from the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic and recent floods and there was need to be considerate of the welfare of Kenyan taxpayers.
