Machakos Town MP Caleb Mule has assured parents and students that this year’s bursaries will be disbursed during the first week after schools reopen. Speaking at a burial ceremony in Kaloleni, the legislator emphasized that the move aims to ensure students are not sent home due to unpaid fees.
"We understand the financial strain parents face, especially during these tough economic times. That is why we are ensuring bursaries are released on time so that no student is locked out of school due to lack of fees," MP Mule stated.
Reaffirming his commitment to serving the people of Machakos, MP Mule highlighted several upcoming development projects set to benefit residents, particularly in Mutituni/Ngelani Ward. Among the key initiatives, he pledged to fence and renovate Yekamete Primary School to modernize its infrastructure and elevate its standards.
"Education is a pillar of development, and we want our schools to offer the best learning environment. Yekamete Primary School will soon have a facelift, with a secure fence and improved infrastructure to give it the look and feel of a modern group of schools," he added.
The MP reiterated his dedication to education and development, vowing to work tirelessly for the betterment of Machakos Town Constituency.
"I am fully committed to serving Machakos people with dedication. More projects are in the pipeline to improve infrastructure, education, and general service delivery across the constituency," MP Mule assured.
Residents in attendance lauded the MP’s commitment, urging him to continue prioritizing education and development initiatives.
