Nzioka Waita Engages Masii Community in Faith, Environment, and Sports Activities

Former Machakos gubernatorial aspirant Nzioka Waita led a vibrant community engagement in Masii, bringing together residents in faith-based activities, environmental conservation, and youth sports empowerment.

The day kicked off with a spirit-filled service at Masii Christ the King Catholic Church, where Waita joined congregants in prayer and reflection. Addressing the faithful, he emphasized the importance of unity and shared values in building a stronger Machakos.

"Faith is the foundation of a thriving society. It teaches us to work together, care for one another, and strive for a better future," Waita said.

In a symbolic move toward environmental sustainability, Waita participated in a tree-planting exercise, reaffirming his commitment to a greener future.

"This tree represents our shared responsibility to protect our environment. A greener Machakos is a healthier and more prosperous one for future generations," he stated.

The event ended on an exciting note with a thrilling football match between Masii Heroes and Kavumbu Young Kings. Waita cheered on the teams, highlighting the role of sports in youth development and social cohesion.

"Sports is a powerful tool for empowerment. It keeps our youth engaged, nurtures talent, and unites communities," he noted.

Reaffirming his vision for Masaku Mbee, Waita pledged continued support for initiatives that uplift communities and inspire action.

"Our goal is simple: to build a Machakos where every person, young or old, has an opportunity to thrive," he concluded.
