Governor Wavinya, DG Mwangangi Lead Worship, Drum Up Support for Kalonzo and Kamba Unity

Machakos Governor H.E. Wavinya Ndeti and her Deputy H.E. Francis Mwangangi led a series of worship services across Kalama Sub-county, where they delivered strong messages of faith, unity, and political direction for the Kamba community.

Governor Wavinya & DG Francis Mwangangi began their Sunday by attending mass at St. Augustine Catholic Church – Muumandu, joining Christians in commemorating the triumphant entry of Jesus into Jerusalem. She encouraged the faithful to reflect on the love and sacrifice of Christ as they entered the Holy Week.

Later, they joined congregants at The Victory Church in Kyamuthinza, Kola Ward, where she prayed for spiritual renewal and urged believers to stay grounded in faith. “As we enter the Holy Week, I pray your souls will be refreshed and strengthened by the one who gave everything for us at the cross,” she said.

Together with her Deputy, she also attended service at St. John’s Catholic Church in Kalama Ward. Here, both leaders emphasized the need for the Kamba community to rally behind Wiper Party Leader H.E. Kalonzo Musyoka’s presidential bid and to embrace unity.

“It is time for the Kamba community to stand together and support one of our own. Let us walk in unity and show unwavering support to Kalonzo,” Governor Wavinya stated.

Deputy Governor Francis Mwangangi reiterated the message, calling on the region to rise above internal differences.

“Kalonzo Musyoka is our son and the pride of this community. We must rise above our differences and give him full support as he seeks the presidency,” said Mwangangi.

“As leaders, we are committed to walking with the church and our people in both spiritual and developmental matters. Unity is our strength,” he added.

The Governor and her Deputy used the Sunday services to blend faith and leadership, leaving a strong message of hope, unity, and political purpose for the people of Machakos and the entire Kamba region.
