Speaker Anne Kiusya Elected Deputy Chairperson of County Assemblies Forum (CAF)

In a proud moment for Machakos County, Hon. Anne Kiusya, the Speaker of the Machakos County Assembly, has been elected as the Deputy Chairperson of the County Assemblies Forum (CAF) for the term 2025–2027.

The election, held during the #CAFelections2025 summit, brought together speakers and representatives from all 47 counties to chart the way forward for stronger legislative leadership at the devolved level. Hon. Kiusya’s election is a testament to her firm leadership, integrity, and consistent dedication to championing devolution and legislative excellence across Kenya.

Speaking after her victory, Hon. Kiusya expressed gratitude to her fellow speakers for their confidence in her leadership:
