Over 500 Youth Graduate in Kangundo Boda Boda Economic Empowerment Programme

More than 500 young people successfully graduated from the Kangundo Boda Boda Economic Empowerment Programme, a transformative initiative held at Kakutha Primary School in Kangundo West Ward.

The programme, which focused on training Gen Z in various short courses, aims to uplift the economic well-being of young people in the region by equipping them with practical skills for self-reliance.

The graduation ceremony was graced by Hon. Eng. Vincent Musyoka Musau Kawaya, who served as the chief guest, alongside several leaders, including Hon. Caleb Mutiso Mule (MP, Machakos Town Constituency), Hon. Mwalyo, Senator Tabitha Mutinda Munene, Hon. Rachael Kaki, Hon. Beth Syengo, and Kangundo MCAs.

Speaking during the event, Kangundo MP Hon. Fabian Kyule Muli emphasized the importance of youth empowerment, noting that such initiatives are critical in tackling unemployment and fostering economic growth.

The programme aligns with President William Samoei Ruto’s agenda of empowering hustlers through sustainable economic interventions and skills development.
