Kathiani MP Hon. Robert Mbui has reaffirmed that Kenya urgently needs the leadership of Wiper Leader Stephen Kalonzo Musyoka to heal, rebuild, and restore hope to millions of citizens struggling under the current administration. Speaking during the United Opposition meet-the-people tour across Machakos and Kitui Counties, Hon. Mbui said Kenyans have already made up their minds — the future belongs to Kalonzo Musyoka.
The United Opposition tour made stopovers in Masii, Wamunyu, Katangi, Kwa Vonza, Kalundu-Kitui, and Kabati, where residents turned up in large numbers to welcome the opposition leaders. The rallies were filled with chants, songs, and placards carrying messages of support for Kalonzo and the united opposition coalition, which is quickly gaining traction across the country.
Addressing in Kitui, Hon. Mbui said it was evident that Kenyans are yearning for change and are disillusioned by the rising cost of living, high taxes, and unfulfilled promises by the current regime. “From Machakos to Kitui, the message from Kenyans is loud and clear — they are tired of suffering. They want honest leadership, and that leadership is Kalonzo Musyoka,” Mbui stated.
He called on Kenyans, particularly the youth, to take the ongoing Continuous Voter Registration exercise seriously, describing it as the first step toward reclaiming the country’s destiny. “If we want change, we must take responsibility. Registering as a voter is how we speak through the ballot. Let us register in large numbers and send Ruto home come 2027,” he urged.
Hon. Mbui further praised the unity demonstrated by the United Opposition coalition, bringing together key leaders such as Rigathi Gachagua, Eugene Wamalwa, Martha Karua, and Wavinya Ndeti, alongside Kalonzo Musyoka. He noted that this unity reflects the strength and determination of a team committed to rescuing the nation from economic hardship and political division.
The MP described Kalonzo as a statesman whose humility, peace-driven leadership, and clean track record make him the right leader to rebuild Kenya. “Kalonzo Musyoka is a man of integrity — a peacemaker who has always put the country first. He is the leader who can unite this nation and bring back dignity, stability, and development,” he said.
Hon. Mbui concluded by rallying Kenyans from all regions to join the movement to Komboa Kenya, saying the United Opposition’s mission is not about personal ambition but about restoring the nation’s soul. “Together, we will heal Kenya, rebuild our economy, and restore hope. The future is Kalonzo, and change is coming,” he affirmed.
