Mbiuni Ward MCA in Mwaka, Machakos county Hon. Peter Kilonzo ( PK) has urged Kenyans to prioritize peace, unity, and cohesion as the country approaches the 2027 general elections.
Speaking while attending church service at his Ward, Hon. Peter Kilonzo emphasized the importance of coming together as a community, setting aside political differences, and focusing on development and collective well-being.
“The road to the 2027 elections is approaching, and it is crucial that we remain united as Mbiuni people. Let us rise above divisions, avoid conflicts, and work together for the progress of our Ward,” he said.
Hon. Peter Kilonzo also called on all political leaders, community elders, and youth to foster dialogue and tolerance, stressing that peaceful engagement is the cornerstone of a thriving democracy. He encouraged residents to actively participate in community development initiatives while ensuring that the electoral process remains free, fair, and inclusive.
The MCA further highlighted the achievements made in Mbiuni Ward so far and underscored the need for collective effort to build on these gains.
“Together, we can build a stronger, safer, and more prosperous Mbiuni,” he stated.
