PS TERESIA MBAIKA RALLIES STUDENTS TO EMBRACE DISCIPLINE AS SHE REAFFIRMS GOVERNMENT'S COMMITMENT TO EDUCATION AND DEVELOPMENT

Principal Secretary & Kaiti Constituency MP Aspirant for 2027 Teresia Mbaika-CBS has challenged students to remain disciplined, focused, and committed to excellence, saying education remains the most powerful tool for transforming lives and communities.

Speaking yesterday on Friday 29th May 2026 during the Prize Giving Day Ceremony at AIC Mwaani Secondary School, PS Mbaika praised the institution for its impressive performance in the 2025 KCSE examinations, where the school improved its mean score from 6.742 to 7.859.

She attributed the achievement to the hard work of students, dedication of teachers, and support from parents, noting that 136 out of 163 candidates attained university entry grades.

The PS urged learners to embrace hard work, humility, and determination in their academic journey, while calling on parents and teachers to continue guiding young people through strong mentorship and values-based education.

PS Mbaika also reaffirmed the government's commitment to supporting development through investments in education, infrastructure, water projects, and other essential services aimed at improving livelihoods and driving socio-economic growth.

During the event, she awarded outstanding students and commissioned the school's bakery project, an initiative expected to enhance practical learning opportunities and boost the institution's sustainability efforts.

The ceremony brought together education stakeholders, local leaders, parents, students, and community members in celebrating academic excellence and the school's continued progress.
