Kivasu Nzioka , elected member of the National Assembly for Mbooni Constituency in Makueni County, has promised to uplift the education sector in the Constituency, saying that education is one key agenda among his top priorities for Mbooni People.
Speaking at Kakuswi, play grounds in Mbooni on Thursday while issuing out bursary cheques for secondary schools, universities , colleges ,tertiary institutions , special schools and boda boda training, amounting 60,000,000 million, MP Kivasu Nzioka said he has good plans for enhancing education in Mbooni Constituency, for today, education is the ultimate equalizer, creator of opportunities and the way maker for a transformed future.
"The only way to pay you back for the many votes that you gave me and your respect for elected me as your MP for the second time is only through service delivery. I will deliver accordingly to the people of Mbooni. My people shall never regret having me as their MP . I'm up to the task, " said Kivasu Nzioka.
Education is the platform that makes it possible to defeat all barriers.
Kivasu revealed that he will put his focus on the education sector by investing in it to enable Mbooni students to perform exemplary.
"There is a need for all of us to enhance education and develop our children. Education is the passport for the future, " said Kivasu.
MP Kivasu urged Mbooni parents to invest in their children's education for a promising future .
"Education is the only best investment that you can offer to your children. Let you prioritize it. Education has the power to transform one's entire life, " added Kivasu
He noted that he is committed to supporting education in Mbooni Constituency for it's a socioeconomic changer and key pillar to development.
Kivasu has issued a record of Kshs 60,000,000 million bursaries cheques to 10,404 students from Mbooni, with each location getting a minimum of Ksh.1.8 million.
Kivasu has been consistent in his support for education in Mbooni Constituency, raising the amount yearly. All through, the bursaries Issuance Exercise has been open and transparent.
Kivasu was accompanied by First Lady - Juliana Kivasu, Mbooni Constituency CDF Team, MCAs among many other leaders.
