KIBWEZI WEST MP - MWENGI MUTUSE PLEDGES TO TARMACK EMALI-UKIA ROAD

Kibwezi West MP Hon. Mwengi Mutuse has reaffirmed his commitment to ensuring the tarmacking of the Emali-Ukia road, a crucial infrastructure project that residents and religious leaders have consistently requested.

Speaking at Emali Catholic Church during a farewell mass for Fr. Patrick Muteti, who has been transferred to Kilungu Parish, Hon. Mutuse assured the congregation that he is working towards making the road project a reality.
The MP, who was accompanied by area MCA Hon. Cosmas Mutunga (Makombe) and Muvau/Kikumini MCA Hon. Mama Kawembe, acknowledged the significance of the road in boosting connectivity and easing transport challenges for residents.

“The Emali-Ukia road has been a priority concern for the church and the community. I am fully committed to ensuring its tarmacking, and I will continue pushing for its implementation,” said Mutuse.

The road, which links Emali to Ukia, is expected to enhance trade, improve accessibility to essential services, and support economic growth in the region once completed. Residents have welcomed the MP’s pledge, urging the government to expedite the process to improve infrastructure in the area.
