Speaking during a public address in Mwala, Kasoa pledged that once elected as MP, he will ensure the establishment of two fruit processing companies within the constituency. According to him, the move is intended to benefit area residents by creating employment opportunities and offering a ready market for locally grown fruits.
"We must shift from being mere growers to becoming producers. Once elected, I will make sure two fruit processing factories are set up right here in Mwala to empower our farmers and create jobs for our people," Kasoa affirmed.The aspirant emphasized that investing in fruit processing would not only improve farmers' incomes but also spur industrial growth in Mwala, positioning the region as a key player in agricultural value addition.
Residents welcomed the announcement, expressing optimism that the proposed projects would significantly transform the constituency’s economic landscape.
As the 2027 elections draw closer, Hon. Kasoa’s pledge is expected to feature prominently in his campaign message focused on economic empowerment and agricultural transformation.
