Hon. Francis Kitaka Leads Lighting Initiative to Enhance Security in Ndalani Ward

Security and development go hand in hand, and the leadership of Hon. Francis Kitaka, MCA for Ndalani Ward, is proving just that. In a bold move to enhance public safety and spur economic growth, the ward has launched a robust street lighting program aimed at installing and rehabilitating Mulika Mwizi lights across all villages in the area.

This ambitious initiative is being carried out in partnership with the Machakos County Government under the leadership of H.E. Governor Wavinya Ndeti. The move is part of a broader plan to transform Ndalani Ward into a safer, more secure, and economically vibrant community.
“Security is the backbone of growth and prosperity in any community, including economic development,” said Hon. Kitaka. “We made a promise to prioritize the safety and well-being of our people, and we are delivering. This is just one of the many steps we are taking to build a secure, empowered, and thriving Ndalani Ward.”

The lighting project is already making a significant impact, with residents reporting improved safety during night hours and increased business activities due to extended operating hours. The initiative is also expected to reduce crime rates and improve the overall quality of life for Ndalani residents.

Hon. Kitaka reaffirmed his commitment to community service, promising to continue championing development projects that uplift the lives of his constituents. “We will continue doing our best for our people,” he emphasized.

The people of Ndalani Ward have welcomed the development with open arms, praising their MCA for walking the talk and fulfilling campaign promises. As the lights shine brighter across the ward, so does the hope for a more secure and prosperous future.
