Philippe Sadjah, a key advisor to Machakos Governor Wavinya Ndeti on empowerment programmes, has made a powerful case for Wiper Party leader Kalonzo Musyoka to be handed the opposition presidential ticket ahead of the 2027 General Election.
In a strongly worded statement, Sadjah said Kalonzo is the only candidate with the right blend of strategy, experience, and national appeal to lead the opposition to State House.
“The opposition must stop gambling with untested alliances. The 2027 presidential ticket must be given to Kalonzo Musyoka if we are serious about taking power,” said Sadjah. “It’s not just about popularity. It’s about winning — and Kalonzo is the only one who can deliver the presidency.”
Sadjah’s remarks come amid increased lobbying within opposition ranks over who should fly the coalition flag in 2027. He urged leaders to put egos aside and unite early around Kalonzo to build a formidable campaign.
“The time for experiments is over. The moment to unite is now. Kalonzo is the key to victory,” he added.
The call adds weight to growing sentiments across various regions that Kalonzo, a former Vice President and seasoned political figure, is best placed to face off against the ruling administration and clinch the presidency in 2027.
