Machakos DG Francis Mwangangi Hails Machakos University’s Transformation Ahead of 10th Graduation

Machakos Deputy Governor Francis Mwangangi has lauded Machakos University for its continued transformation and contribution to national development through innovation and research.

Speaking during a breakfast meeting held at the university and led by Vice Chancellor Prof. Joyce Agalo, Mwangangi expressed his admiration for the institution’s growth and commitment to academic excellence, noting that such milestones are vital in creating a sustainable future for the country.

“With education being a powerful tool for shaping any nation, institutions of higher learning like Machakos University play a critical role,” he stated.

As the university prepares for its 10th graduation ceremony, the Deputy Governor emphasized the importance of strategic partnerships, saying that ongoing collaborations between the county and the university are already bearing fruit in key areas of innovation, research, and development.

Mwangangi reaffirmed the county government's support in positioning Machakos University as a global hub for research and innovation.
