Kangundo Member of Parliament Hon. Fabian Kyule Muli has called on the Kamba community to chart a new political path, warning that decades of remaining in the opposition have slowed down the region’s progress.
Addressing a charged crowd in Kilome Constituency, Hon. Fabian Kyule Muli urged residents to abandon what he termed the politics of “Vomwe na Vayetwa” — a divisive approach he believes has kept Ukambani on the periphery of national development.
“For how long will the Kamba nation remain in opposition? It is time for a ‘Tutam’ — a political shift that will ensure our people benefit from the government’s agenda,” Hon. Muli told the gathering.
He said working closely with President William Samoei Ruto’s administration would unlock more resources for infrastructure, water projects, job creation, and investment opportunities in the region. MP Fabian Kyule Muli argued that strategic political alignment is not about abandoning principles but about prioritizing development for the people.
The call was met with thunderous applause from the Kilome residents, many of whom welcomed the message, saying it was time the community positioned itself to benefit from government programs.
The MP’s remarks have stirred conversations across Ukambani and beyond, with some leaders supporting his push while others defending the region’s current political stance.
Hon. Muli’s speech — now widely circulated on social media — has been described by supporters as bold, visionary, and a wake-up call for the Kamba nation.
