Machakos Deputy Governor Hon. Francis Mwangangi has called on leaders across the country to put aside early political campaigns and instead concentrate on delivering essential services to the citizens. Hon. Mwangangi emphasized that Kenyans are tired of endless politicking and deserve meaningful development that directly improves their lives.
He noted that early campaigns often derail government programmes, shift attention away from critical projects, and create unnecessary political tension. Hon. Mwangangi urged national and county leaders to prioritize service delivery, accountability, and responsible governance, saying that development should always take precedence over political interests.
The Deputy Governor further appealed to all key players in the political arena to embrace tolerance, respect diverse opinions, and nurture an environment where constructive dialogue thrives. He stressed that differing views should not be a source of conflict but rather a pillar that strengthens Kenya’s democratic growth.
Hon. Mwangangi reiterated that unity, cooperation, and open-minded leadership remain essential in building a stable and prosperous nation. He urged leaders at all levels to champion peace, inclusivity, and mutual respect as the country continues to navigate its socio-economic journey.
