Machakos Town Member of Parliament, Hon. Caleb Mule Mutiso, today officially commissioned the newly constructed County Criminal Investigations Office in Machakos. The momentous event was graced by the Cabinet Secretary for Interior and National Administration, Hon. Onesmus Kipchumba Murkomen, Internal Security Principal Secretary Dr. Raymond Omollo, Eastern Regional Commissioner Paul Rotich, Machakos County Commissioner Josephine Ouko, and other senior officials from the ministry.
The state-of-the-art facility, fully funded through the National Government Constituencies Development Fund (NGCDF) under Hon. Mule’s stewardship, marks a significant milestone in the county’s ongoing efforts to strengthen security infrastructure.
Speaking during the commissioning, Hon. Mule emphasized the importance of providing security officers with dignified and well-equipped working environments to enhance service delivery.
"We believe that our security officers deserve to work from dignified and well-equipped offices as they serve and protect our people. This is just the beginning. We will continue to prioritize initiatives that enhance the working conditions of our officers and ensure a safer Machakos for all," he said.
The leaders present lauded the initiative, highlighting it as a model for other constituencies aiming to improve the working conditions of security personnel across the country.
