PS Teresia Mbaika Emerges as a Strong Voice for Inclusive Leadership in Kaiti

As Kenya steadily moves toward the 2027 General Election, conversations around leadership, governance, and inclusive development are gaining renewed momentum across the country. Increasingly, women leaders are taking centre stage — not merely as participants, but as influential voices shaping public discourse and development priorities.

In Makueni County, and particularly within Kaiti Constituency, PS Teresia Mbaika is emerging as a respected figure whose leadership philosophy continues to draw attention from residents and observers alike. Her emphasis on service, accountability, and people-centred development aligns with the growing public demand for leadership that delivers tangible results.

PS Teresia Mbaika consistently underscores the importance of education, youth empowerment, and social inclusion as critical pillars for sustainable community development. She maintains that leadership must go beyond rhetoric and translate into measurable impact in the lives of ordinary citizens.

“True leadership is about listening to the people, understanding their challenges, and working tirelessly to deliver solutions that improve livelihoods,” PS Teresia Mbaika

Residents of Kaiti say the constituency has for years grappled with unmet expectations and leadership that failed to prioritise grassroots concerns. As the 2027 election cycle draws closer, many are expressing a desire for leadership that is responsive, transparent, and development-driven.

Speaking to Rada TV, Kaloki, a resident of Kaiti, says the community is increasingly focused on credibility and performance rather than empty promises.

“People are more aware now. We want leaders who are visible, who engage with us, and who understand what development truly means,” he said.

Education remains a key concern for many families in the constituency, alongside youth unemployment and the need for greater support for women. PS Mbaika’s leadership outlook places young people at the centre of development, recognising them as both current contributors and future leaders, while affirming the role of women as pillars of social and economic stability.

Another resident, Alice, says the constituency is increasingly embracing progressive leadership grounded in integrity and vision.

“We believe leadership should be about service and impact. Women leaders bring focus, care, and practical solutions to real community issues,” she said.

PS Teresia Mbaika continues to call for unity, inclusivity, and issue-based leadership as the country heads toward 2027. She maintains that meaningful change is achievable when leadership is rooted in empathy, strategic thinking, and accountability to the people.

As political temperatures gradually rise ahead of the next General Election, voices from Kaiti suggest a growing appetite for leadership that prioritises development, empowers communities, and places people at the heart of governance.
