The performance index was conducted between March to November 2023.
The members of the County Assembly ( MCAs ) have been noticed to be the best performing in the Lower Eastern, based on the views of the public on their oversight, legislation and representation roles.
This has been achieved only through Speaker Kevin Kinengos' good leadership, for a leader is the key pillar of any organisation.
While taking oath of office, Speaker Kinengo Kevin said that he will serve rightfully and fruitfully, to see Kitui County fully transformed and grow to more fruitful County.
As the other Assemblies have been shaking, Kitui Assembly has always remained strong and unmovable since Speaker Kinengo took over the office.
Speaker Kevin Kinengo is indeed a fruitful talented leader, who doesn't allow disunity, corruption, laziness and bad influence amongst the people he's leading.
The public who spoke to Rada TV Kenya , said that Speaker Kinengo is the best they have ever had, saying that he's destined for great leadership position in future out of his good leadership.
"We are appreciative to have Kinengo as the Assembly Speaker. Many might not be aware that growth of this County depends on MCAs unity. Kinengo has united all MCAs and leaders together, guided them in the most acceptable ways to make sure that Kitui transforms "- said Joseph, resident
Faith Ndunge, Kabati resident , asked Speaker Kinengo to ensure that the MCAs continue to serve Kitui County with dedication and integrity, tirelessly, to fulfill the promised made and enhance the well-being of all Kitui residents.
