Rada TV Kenya spoke to locals in a bid to establish who is the best County Secretary in the Lower Eastern Region of Kenya, i. e , Kitui, Machakos and Makueni Counties.
Dr. Muya Ndambuki, who is the Head of County Public Service in Machakos County, was ranked best, following his unique way of coordination and smooth operation to help run Machakos County.
Dr. Muya Ndambuki has always been providing the required guidance to the Governor, as it is one of his roles to guide the Governor. On that matter, Dr. Muya has always been active to perform his duties.
On Machakos County Public Service, he has poured enough knowledge on them, on how to run the County systems and co- relate to work in a smooth manner, to help not only their circles achieve their goals, but also help the Governor, deliver her mandate to the good people of Machakos County.
According to Jane Wambua, business lady in Machakos, said she once paid a Courtesy Call to Dr.Muya at his office ;
" Asante sana Governor Wavinya Ndeti. We are very thankful for the County Secretary that you brought in for us. I paid a visit to him at his office and my problems were solved swiftly and rightfully. A showcase that Dr.Muya Ndambuki is the right man for the position. Within his circles, there are no loopholes. Everything is running smoothly "- said Jane
The Head of Public Service - Dr. Muya Ndambuki has also been praised for making sure that all County employees are united and working on the same goal , that is helping Machakos transform.
" Dr.Muya has since been coordinating County employees to work in unity to help Governor Wavinya Ndeti deliver for the people of Machakos. He's such a wonderful Head of Public Service, who under his leadership, Machakos County employees have remained united with no clashes and disunity "- Kimuya, Matatu driver said.
When he was taking oath of office, the County Secretary - Dr.Muya Ndambuki, said that he will work diligently with transparency, words which have come true, following his dedication to work for the people of Machakos.
Dr.Muya Ndambuki has been asked by locals to keep the fire burning and work for the people of Machakos Rightfully and Fruitfully to help Machakos County transform under his Leadership together with Governor Wavinya Ndeti.
WHO APPOINTS COUNTY SECRETARY?
According to Section 44(2) (b) of the County Government Act, 2012 confers upon H.E the Governor the power to appoint a County Secretary with the approval of the County Assembly.
