"Pursue Tertiary Education Irrespective Of Your KCSE Grades"- Collins Kitaka, Mumbuni Technical College Director Urges Students

Addressing the Media at Machakos Town on Wednesday, Mumbuni Technical College Director - Collins Kitaka urged students to pursue tertiary education irregardless of their KCSE grades so as to shape their future lives.

Director Kitaka said that those who scored lowest in their KCSE examinations can join tertiary institutions, start with an artisan certificate and progress to the next level instead of staying at home without any hope or good plan for their future.

According to Director Collins Kitaka, the government has made it possible for candidates even with the lowest scores to qualify to university, but only through tertiary institutions.

He urged all those who didn't perform exemplary not to lose hope , instead join TVET institutions, to pursue courses of their own interests, which shall transform their current statuses of life.

Tertiary institutions offer different courses that are presently beneficial to all , such as Masonary, Beauty Therapy, Welding, and Plumbing, among many others.

"Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world. Don't lose hope in your lives. Come join Tertiary institutions and for sure you will achieve your goals "- said Director Collins Kitaka

He urged parents to take up their responsibility of supplementing quality education to their children, asking them to stand in, and help their children achieve their dreams through access to quality education.

Director Collins Kitaka indeed asked MPs to support tertiary institutions through regular issuance of bursaries as a way of boosting and enhancing education.
