Kinanie / Mathatani Ward MCA - Francis Kavyu Vows To Nurture Youths Talents .

Francis Kavyu , Kinanie / Mathatani Ward MCA in Mavoko Sub-County has affirmed his resolve to help young people, basically youths from Kinanie / Mathatani Ward and Mavoko Constituency at large, exploit and nurture their talents for a promising and transformed future.

Speaking at Kyumbi Sports Grounds in Kinanie / Mathatani Ward, Mavoko Sub-County during The Kinanie Super League Finals that he initiated, MCA Francis Kavyu the league was initiated as one way of helping the youths realise their potential and evade the temptations of indulging in drug abuse and other criminal activities. 

"I initiated this program of having The Kinanie Super League to help our young people who are the youths realise their potential and empower their talents. Am in to help them have a transformed future." said MCA Kavyu.

“I believe that if we are to achieve our goal of being an aspirational nation, then young people need to be given a chance,” added MCA Kavyu
MCA Francis Kavyu went on; 

“We want to bring all our young people together to help them nurture their talents and, above all, empower them economically in order to ensure that they have a strong foundation in life"

He urged the youths to shun drug abuse and instead engage in fruitful activities that can help them transform their lives and have a bright future.

He also highlighted the benefits of monetizing talent and creative works as a means of empowering the youth, job creation, and contributing to economic growth.
Kavyu also emphasized the importance of exploiting key avenues and hidden talents, especially at the grassroots level across the country.

20 teams participated in the league that commenced last year in June. 
All participant teams have been awarded with 2 balls each. Participants who managed to advance to quarter finals were awarded 11 pairs of boots. Top 3 teams from every pool receiving trophies. The winner received cash award of Ksh.50,000 , number 2 receiving cash award of Ksh. 30,000 and number 3 receiving cash award of Ksh. 20,000. The uniform award was channelled to the winning teams with all teams that qualified for quarter finals receiving socks award and medals for all participants.
