Athiriver Township Ward MCA Hon. Jeremiah Kaloi, endorsed Azimio Coalition Leader, Hon.Raila Odinga for the AU Commission Chairperson, terming him as the best fit and qualified candidate for the position.
Addressing the Media on Tuesday outside Machakos County Assembly, MCA Kaloi said that Raila can steer the continent in the right direction, rightfully and fruitfully.
He said that Hon.Raila Odinga is full of experience, a reason that makes him most suitable for the position.
"I want to wish Raila the very best. He is the most qualified candidate for the position. No one can match his qualifications "- said MCA Kaloi

Mulolongo / Syokimau Ward MCA - Hon.Ndwiki, said that the former Prime Minister's strive for democratic reforms in Kenya, will also be reflected in the region under his leadership, fully endorsing him for the position.
Hon.Ndwiki noted that Raila's track record on matters leadership, ranks him high for the position, saying that Raila is the man to watch on the position.
On if Azimio Coalition will split if Raila secures the AU job, Ndwiki said that Azimio is intact and ruled under Coalition laws , saying that wise decisions will be made about who will lead the Coalition, fitting well the shoes of Raila Odinga.
Hon.Annastacia Mutevu, Machakos MCA, fully endorsed Raila's AU bid, saying Raila Odinga has played a crucial and selfless role in the democratisation of the Nation.
Hon.Mutevu appealed to the continent to consider Raila Odinga, saying he stands out as a zealous statesman with qualities needed to fill the gap.
Hon.Catherine Kyee, Machakos MCA, said she has no doubt that Raila Odinga is viable candidate for the position.
MCA Kyee acknowledged that Raila's vast experience will be of immense value to Africa.
She said that should Odinga win, it would be a major accomplishment.
"If Raila has offered himself for that international job, I fully support him for the position. He's fully qualified for the job"- said MCA Kyee
“If the region can come together and put the candidate forward, then that is how it should be.”- added MCA Catherine Kyee.
