DG Francis Mwangangi Leads A Section Of Machakos County Officials In Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates For Aim Congress 2024.

Machakos County Deputy Governor Francis Mwangangi is currently leading a section of other Machakos County officials from Trade Ministry, SMEs, and Agriculture Department for Aim Congress in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. 

AIM CONGRESS is a global premiere investment platform that is currently being held in the United Arab Emirates themed : Adapting to a changing investment landscape: Harnessing new potential for the global economy. 

Speaking during the event, Deputy Governor Francis Mwangangi said that Machakos County has the capacity to grow its SMEs, revealing that the support Machakos County is getting from the Congress, will make it possible to develop products that addresses the needs of the 21st century as well as contributing to sustainable development. 

The event brings on board 12000 delegates representing over 175 countries across the globe with over 300 partners being enjoined.

It's an initiative of the Aim Global Foundation that was organised by the Abu Dhabi department of economic development. 

Machakos County Government is a participant in the event , with an aim of connecting with investors in different sectors like water, climate change, infrastructure development, and agriculture.

MCA Hellen Ndeti Attends The SHE SUMMIT, Urges Women To Remain Strong & Unbeatable.

Wiper Nominated MCA Hellen Ndeti on Wednesday attended the SHE Summit in Machakos Youth and Children Centre, a forum that brought together people from all walks of life.

Addressing the congregation, MCA Hellen Ndeti urged women leaders to remain strong and focused no matter the many challenges that they face.

Hellen Ndeti said that a society that prioritises the welfare of women, lack nothing but receives more blessings and a strong bond.

"Women face a lot of challenges like discrimination, insults among many other challenges. However, we all have a reason to remain strong and unbeatable, " said Hellen Ndeti

She pointed out that women are the bond that has held together families and the nation, asking all women to remain strong and unbeatable.

"For any nation to be strong and transformed, it has to prioritize and respect women. Today, the rhythm is all about women empowerment. Let's empower and motivate our women, and our country shall be blessed and fully transformed, " added Hellen Ndeti

MCA Hellen Ndeti noted that women are also the pillars within which the country's socio-politico-economic strength is established, saying women need to be fully supported for they play a key role in the nation.

"This tendency of mocking women and moreso women leaders should stop. If it were not for women, even you men, you wouldn't be here. Let's believe in women and women leadership. Let's give women space to even lead the nation. It's possible for us women to deliver, " said MCA Hellen Ndeti.

The SHE Summit was the first-ever Ladies Summit in Machakos County, an empowering day of growth and connection.
