GOVERNOR WAVINYA NDETI TELLS OFF POLITICIANS & ACTIVISTS TROLLING HER OVER AWARDS OF COUNTY GOVERNMENT TENDERS.

Machakos Governor, Wavinya Ndeti has told off a section of politicians and activists who have been trolling her over awards of county government tenders.

"Those who are out to entrench tribalism in my Government should be warned that I will not play into their game. Every resident of Machakos County has the right to do business with the Government," Wavinya charged, saying the county belonged to all.

The Governor maintained she will not engage in a war of words with her opponents, saying the people of Machakos will ultimately vindicate her.

"Imagine i will not succumb to blackmail by those who seek to sow seeds of discord in my administration"- said Wavinya Ndeti. 

A section of local MCAs and activists have launched attacks against Wavinya, claiming her government had been awarding tenders to non-residents of Machakos.

But the Governor has stood her ground, saying she had contravened no law in the award of tenders and other executive appointments.

"I will hold my peace and let those who wish to continue making noise do so. I am answerable to Machakos residents who voted for me," she said.

The Governor urged residents to use the paybill numbers issued by the County Finance department so as to prevent leakage of revenue.

"We hope to do much more in this year's budget because our priorities have been clearly set out in the County Integrated Development Plan (CIDP) which is why we encourage residents to channel their payable taxes to the prescribed paybill numbers," she said.

Governor Wavinya Ndeti was speaking this on Sunday after attending a Sunday Mass at St. Christopher Catholic Church in Kyumbi, Mavoko.

Reflecting on when he was taking oath of office at Machakos WhiteHouse,  Dr.Daniel Yumbya said that Machakos Healthcare facilities no matter which levels, they shall never remain the same under his watch.

Minister Dr.Daniel Yumbya has improved the state and conditions of all Machakos County hospitals , just in a year.

Machakos Level 5 Morgue was a point of concern during the past year's regime,  but under Dr.Daniel Yumbya's leadership,  it's a different story. All is well.

You could smell Machakos Level 5 Morgue , half a kilometre away, but today,  it's the cleanest and well maintained,  after Yumbya initiated full renovations to have the problems solved. 

The Outlook of Machakos Level 5 was wanting, but under Yumbya's leadership,  the hospital is fully renovated to provide a conducive environment for patients.

Maternity Unit was poorly arranged and with no order, but today, it is the best for expecting and new mothers, with working hot showers, clean beddings, nets, clean safe water among others. 

Pathways in the Hospital have been replaced and modernised for easy motability of both patients, visitors and vehicles accessing the hospital.

HAVE YOU HEARD OF ANY MEDICINE THEFT IN THE HOSPITAL? NO ! Under Yumbya's leadership,  there are no loopholes for medicine theft in all Machakos Hospitals. Dr.Daniel Yumbya has laid good strategies to ensure that government medicines are safe and well stored.

County Health Promoters  ( CHPs ) who had stagnated in one job for long period of time, were promoted as a way of also giving others room to secure job opportunities and indeed,  motivate them.

Actually,  Governor Wavinya Ndeti did a good selection,  nominating Dr.Daniel Yumbya for the position.  Yumbya is the best fit leader for the position. #radatvupdates
