FORMER MACHAKOS TOWN MP CANDIDATE JOB NYUMU SOLOMON DISTRIBUTES OVER 1000 TREE SEEDLINGS TO HIS CHURCH MEMBERS

On Sunday, Former Machakos Town MP Candidate - Job Nyumu Solomon, distributed over 1000 tree seedlings to members of his local church - AIC Katisaa in Mumbuni North.
During his address, Job urged them to take advantage of the ongoing rains to plant trees to help mitigate climate change effects in Kenya.

"Let's plant as many trees as possible during this rain season. It's our country, let's green it "- said Job

According to Job , when we plant trees, we plant the seeds of hope and peace.
He urged Mumbuni people and Machakos County at Large to conserve the environment.

"Taking care of environment is equal to taking care of future generations. Let's conserve the environment heartfully "- added Job

Job nyumu Solomon went on ; 

"By planting trees, we not only beautify our country but also ensure sustainable future for our children and generations to come "

The beneficiaries lauded him for his sincere exercise of giving out free seedlings to the community to help green Kenya, noting that they will plant and take care them to maturity.

Efforts By Machakos County Department of Emergency! Body Of A Middle-aged Man Finally Retrieved From A Quarry Pit In Machakos

On Sartuday, a Middle-aged man drowned in a Quarry Pit Full of Water while swimming in Itimboni area - Kyumbi, Machakos County. 

The 'unknown 'man was grazing when he saw it wise to refresh himself in the Quarry Pit, when he met his sudden death.

Area residents noticed that the man had drowned, when they heard loud cries coming from the Quarry Pit.
When they rushed to the Quarry Pit, they discovered that a man had drowned and their efforts to rescue him were unsuccessful.

A fire Brigade team from Machakos County arrived at the scene , helped to retrieve the body but till late hours, their efforts could not bear any fruits.

Today Sunday morning, they embarked on the exercise , which bore fruits, for they were able to retrieve the body from the Quarry Pit. 
Their collaboration with the area community and unity amongst themselves, saw the body be retrieved From the Pit successfully. 

Chris Musau- Deputy Sub County fire officer confirmed that his fire Brigade team Retrieved the body from the Quarry Pit.
The area residents have been cautioned to keep off the Quarry Pit site , since it's life risking at the moment. 

His body has since been moved to Machakos Funeral Morgue.
