Speaking at Kalumoni in Kiima Kimwe/ Muvuti Ward on Wednesday while presiding over bursary cheques issuance exercise for high school and Vocational College students, MCA Joseph Mulinge asked all parents to be in the forefront line in enhancing education for their children.
He urged parents to get more involved in their children's education, as it will prove beneficial to both individuals in the long run.
According to MCA Joseph Mulinge, for the Kalumoni area and the ward generally to improve, the only path to achieving the goal, it's only through education enhancement .
"Let's all focus on improving this area of Kalumoni and Kiima Kimwe/ Muvuti Ward generally. The secret to this is only through education. Let's educate our children beyond even our capacities for a better future, " said MCA Joseph Mulinge.
He noted that he will ensure he enhances education for all students, saying that he has hope for a better outcome that will impact the lives of many, leaving the Ward generally transformed.
Mulinge revealed that he is fully committed to serving Muvuti /Kiima Kimwe residents rightfully and fruitfully, saying that he loves the people of his Ward, and he will never betray them , for they voted him in massively with many votes.
"The only way to pay you for the many votes that you gave me is through fruitful leadership. I will always be there, and I will never betray you. Serving you rightfully is my main agenda. Hapa ni kazi tu. You shall never regret having me as your MCA, " he said.
He said that he signed a social contract with the people of Muvuti / Kiima Kimwe Ward that he must deliver, noting that he is up to the task and he is always proud of his electorates.
MCA Mulinge issued out bursary cheques worth Ksh 2.2 million, with around 590 students from both secondary schools and Kalumoni Vocational College benefiting.
Residents who spoke to Rada TV mentioned MCA Joseph Mulinge as a true definition of a proactive leader, saying that he is always in the forefront line, sourcing for development projects for them.
They acknowledged his fruitful leadership, lauding him for always being there for them in time of need, pointing out that their MCA is special and God sent.
"When other MCAs are in Mombasa for their individual benefits, we are here with our MCA. This is a show of love to us. Continue serving us with dedication. We shall never forget you, " said a resident.
Kiima Kimwe/Muvuti Ward is one area where no cheap politics are never tolerated, an area where other wards need to visit for benchmarking on development projects.
